Spring Break!
Hey Guys!
I know it has been a mighty long time since I have posted anything on my blog but I have been really busy living the life of a gapper and all!
Life has been pretty boring up until my 18th, on March 25th. I was showered with gifts from parents at school and workmates :) My birthday celebrations started the night of the 24th when we ordered pizza and went down to Brighton for midnight when I was officially 18 and could experience my first ever night out clubbing! That was such a fun night everyone from Copthorne Prep that came with me made my night amazing!
A week later and I was on holidays, for 3.5 weeks! WOOO! That Friday night I was kidnapped by one of the mums at school, Clare, who has become my mum over here and I have become another daughter to her! I babysat for here and the following morning she dropped me off at Gatwick airport to meet Tori. I waited and waited and Tori didn't show up....turns out she had made it to the wrong terminal! What a silly girl!! Finally we got through check in and we were on our way to Abereen, Scotland! Sian and Lloyd met us at the airport and took us back to their amazing house! I did feel it had been 2.5 years since we had seen each other! Martin and Lloyd took Tori and I up a Munro! 7 hours hiking in the Scottish Highlands. Man oh man I was sore the next day! Tori and I went to Edinburgh for day days and saw all the sights, visited the castle and stayed in the Bank Hotel which was just the most amazing hotel to stay in, we had a lovely dinner out on our first day and then met up with two of my longest friends from back in Canberra, Kate and Bec, who happened to be there the same time we were!! The rest of my time in Scotland was amazing filled with, ice-cream, hot chocolates, snow, rain, castles beaches, walks with the dog, watching a lot a football!! and of course amazing company for the 10 days including Easter!
I got back to school three loads of washing down and bag backed again and off I went to Corfu, Greece! I have now been in Greece for 7 days and I leave tomorrow. I came over here with a fellow Letz Live Gapper, Melissa but she left on Sunday. We have taken in some unbelievable sights, the second prettiest place I've been in the world! Nothing will beat my Rosedale! I have met the most amazing people at this hostel, made so many friends and I will struggle to forget this place, the Pink Palace is amazing, best backpackers I have stayed at yet! Second day we were here Mel and I went on a Quad Bike Safari around the island, driving for 6 hours and taking in the most amazing views and prettiest beaches! On Saturday night we went into Corfu town to Celebrate Greek Orthodox Easter, filled with fireworks dancers and traditional Greek music! Was a truly amazing experience. Sunday night we had a toga party at the Pink Palace's very own night club! Filled with pink toga's ouzo(!!!) and plate smashing!! Trust me to be the one that got picked out for the crowd of 100+ people to have the first plate smashed on my head. I was dragged in to the middle of the circle given 7 ouzo shots (most revolting Greek drink ever!!!) and then had a stack, at least 15 plates high, smashed onto my head at once! oh my golly that hurt so much! But how often is that opportunity going to arise? Not often so it was fun!
The last two days have been great relaxing days with walks through the local village and along the beach reading the Hunger Games! Already up to book two of the series! I leave bright and early tomorrow morning and I'll post photos when I am home :)
Ill write again soon!!!

Long time, no read hey?
Hey all!
Ok so I know it's been a rather long time since I've blogged but I thought with this weekend being the first weekend of half term holidays I would update you all on my wild adventures on the other side of the world!
So I am now a fully qualified pool life saver!!! We did a course four weekends ago it was a very very long day (10-6) of doing the same stuff over and over again, but was well worth it :)
Three weekends ago, Tori Lee and I went to Cirque Du Soliel, Totem, in London! It was a nice weekend. We spent Saturday afternoon shopping and spend possibly, no defiantly, far too much money! But hey, it is a year of learning after all!!! We then made our way to the hostel, which well let’s just say we spent £8 a night!! So let’s say the next time I say there I will be waling next door to McDonalds to use the loo....but for a place that you get in at 1230am and are out of there by 830 the next morning its perfect for us broke gappers! We then walking around Hyde Park to get to the Royal Albert Hall..IN THE SNOW!!! It was such an amazing experience. I have seen snow a few times before but to have it snowing on you while walking the streets of London that is a completely new experience! When we got to the show we realised that I had actually bought BOX TICKETS!! So there was snow outside, we were in London at the Royal Albert Hall in a BOX(!!!) drinking champers with Tori at Cirque Du Soliel!! What a night. The show was absolutely fantastic! The playlist is my newly most played playlist on my laptop!
I have started a few babysitting gigs which is great! I have been babysitting for the Jenkins, who are the Head of Boarding's family, they have two amazing little boys, Daniel who is 4 and Luke who is 2! Two of the cutest little boys I have ever met not to mention how polite they are!
The weekend of Feb 11 & 12 Annabel, Cullen, Chris, Will, Helen and myself went down to Hove to stay with the Lee's (Charlie and Stu, teachers @ Copthorne) our new home away from home away from home! It was a truly amazing weekend so much fun, it was nice to escape school especially after a rather home sick week after missing Caito's 15th birthday! (Love you Spud) We spent Sunday roaming around Brighton having a ball!
I have now officially finished all I need to do for my Queens Guide, now just to write up all the reports about everything I have done....note to future Queens Guiders, DO NOT LEAVE THIS TO THE END, DO IT AS YOU GO!!!...
The weekend was the first weekend of our half term holidays, we get a week off!! I had a friend Jess Tanner stay over Friday night and Saturday night, which was really nice to see other faces our age for once! We spent yesterday in Brighton, Cullen got a tattoo and then she left this morning when I went to Church with Dave, Sarah, Daniel and Luke Jenkins, which was, well an experience! A very nice one tho. I will put it this way for you all at home; it was described to me as a different church, a bit like hill song! But oh my golly gosh it was so fun! And MORE people my age! And MORE AUSSIES! Which is nice to be able to escape the school scene and mix with an entire new group of people!
This afternoon I decided that I would FINALLY take my new bike for a spin! I got 5 minutes into my ride to then get a really bad flat tire, I couldn't even get enough air into it to ride back to school...., so I walked the to local gym and well I am now a member of LA Fitness! Hopefully I will be coming home looking better than ever!

So half term this week, I am working at the holiday program earning £70/day, which is a nice added extra! While the others are spending money I am making it! I also have a few babysitting gigs this week! On Saturday, I am off to Wembley Stadium for Voice in a Million, with the school choir, which should be a blast!
Well I am off to start my Queens Guide write up! I have a lot of typing to do!!!
Enjoy!

Another week passed!
Hi all!
So living in a boarding house I am getting very very used to....I now know what dinners to avoid and what to take extra plates of and put them in our fridge!
The last we has been rather eventful actually here is how the last week and a bit have gone :)
Monday: I booked my flights to Aberdeen in April. I headed up there to spend some time with Sian, Martin, Dylan & Lloyd. My best friend, Tori (who is a gapper at Lancing College), is coming to! So we are around family for Easter. I also had my first UK Girl Guides meeting which was amazing! I feel right at home and they all loved hearing about aus funny enough!
Tuesday: I got a parcel from home with my lovely warm jacket which I didn’t even think of bringing and I have worn it every day since it arrived!
Wednesday: This week is really full of firsts, I had my Under 9a’s first hockey match and they won 9-0! Well done to my amazing girlys!! Later that night I went and joined the local hockey club and had our first training session and I am now playing in their women’s league 2’s. The way they structure their training is so different, I think it will take some getting used to!
Thursday: Thursday wasn’t really anything special, except for coaching the senior boys hockey with the other hockey coach, let me just say that teaching rugby players to play hockey is rather challenging!
Friday: I had the day off work stuck in bed with a nasty nasty cold but I went to tesco, our favourite new shop, and bought some cold and flu tablets!
Saturday: Started feeling better, well no fever anymore. I got up and was hanging with Annabel and Cullen, the other gapers and very very late on Saturday night I bought tickets to Cirque du Sole, Tori and I are going to see them on feb 4th and spending the weekend in London together!!! Girly weekend!!!
Sunday: Went to London for the day for some retail therapy, which worked very well. I met up with a whole bunch of CGGS & CGS gapers in London and hung out a bit then took Annabel and I home and into bed asleep by 8pm!!!!
Monday: Second Guide meeting and now my Queens Guide is back on track and I might ACTUALLY get it done!
Nothing much has happened in the last two days, but from now on I will only be blogging on exciting things as now I’m working full - time and well every week is the same! So until the next exciting event

I made it!
Hey to everyone back home!
Well good news...I MADE IT!
Just finished my second day in London. Yesterday we arrrived at 450am and then headed off to out hostel, The Clink, which is actually an old jail/court house! It's sick although breaky this morning was horrid! The tea tasted like wood :( and for me who is a HUGE tea drink I was devestated! So yesterday was spent roaming around Buckingham Palace, Wesminster Abby, Big Ben, The London Eye and the Strand then back to the Hostel. After much hard hard work I managed to stay awake until 9pm and then slept all the way through to 7am this morning. After a quick child protection talk from Nick (our shaporone) we then went on to the Underground out to Regent St & Oxford St, put it this way i think i need to buy another suitcase already and I've only been here two days!!! oh well everything I bought was on sale I managed to save myself over £200!!! So I am a very happy girl right now :)
We are off to Dinner tonight, a place called the Walkabout, which is a Aussie pub :)
