Long time, no read hey?

Hey all!

Ok so I know it's been a rather long time since I've blogged but I thought with this weekend being the first weekend of half term holidays I would update you all on my wild adventures on the other side of the world!

So I am now a fully qualified pool life saver!!! We did a course four weekends ago it was a very very long day (10-6) of doing the same stuff over and over again, but was well worth it :)

Three weekends ago, Tori Lee and I went to Cirque Du Soliel, Totem, in London! It was a nice weekend. We spent Saturday afternoon shopping and spend possibly, no defiantly, far too much money! But hey, it is a year of learning after all!!! We then made our way to the hostel, which well let’s just say we spent £8 a night!! So let’s say the next time I say there I will be waling next door to McDonalds to use the loo....but for a place that you get in at 1230am and are out of there by 830 the next morning its perfect for us broke gappers! We then walking around Hyde Park to get to the Royal Albert Hall..IN THE SNOW!!! It was such an amazing experience. I have seen snow a few times before but to have it snowing on you while walking the streets of London that is a completely new experience! When we got to the show we realised that I had actually bought BOX TICKETS!! So there was snow outside, we were in London at the Royal Albert Hall in a BOX(!!!) drinking champers with Tori at Cirque Du Soliel!! What a night. The show was absolutely fantastic! The playlist is my newly most played playlist on my laptop!

I have started a few babysitting gigs which is great! I have been babysitting for the Jenkins, who are the Head of Boarding's family, they have two amazing little boys, Daniel who is 4 and Luke who is 2! Two of the cutest little boys I have ever met not to mention how polite they are!

The weekend of Feb 11 & 12 Annabel, Cullen, Chris, Will, Helen and myself went down to Hove to stay with the Lee's (Charlie and Stu, teachers @ Copthorne) our new home away from home away from home! It was a truly amazing weekend so much fun, it was nice to escape school especially after a rather home sick week after missing Caito's 15th birthday! (Love you Spud) We spent Sunday roaming around Brighton having a ball!

I have now officially finished all I need to do for my Queens Guide, now just to write up all the reports about everything I have done....note to future Queens Guiders, DO NOT LEAVE THIS TO THE END, DO IT AS YOU GO!!!...

The weekend was the first weekend of our half term holidays, we get a week off!! I had a friend Jess Tanner stay over Friday night and Saturday night, which was really nice to see other faces our age for once! We spent yesterday in Brighton, Cullen got a tattoo and then she left this morning when I went to Church with Dave, Sarah, Daniel and Luke Jenkins, which was, well an experience! A very nice one tho. I will put it this way for you all at home; it was described to me as a different church, a bit like hill song! But oh my golly gosh it was so fun! And MORE people my age! And MORE AUSSIES! Which is nice to be able to escape the school scene and mix with an entire new group of people!

This afternoon I decided that I would FINALLY take my new bike for a spin! I got 5 minutes into my ride to then get a really bad flat tire, I couldn't even get enough air into it to ride back to school...., so I walked the to local gym and well I am now a member of LA Fitness! Hopefully I will be coming home looking better than ever!

So half term this week, I am working at the holiday program earning £70/day, which is a nice added extra! While the others are spending money I am making it! I also have a few babysitting gigs this week! On Saturday, I am off to Wembley Stadium for Voice in a Million, with the school choir, which should be a blast!

Well I am off to start my Queens Guide write up! I have a lot of typing to do!!!

Enjoy!
